_{Started my elephant today and finished my horse. Now the fox, peacock, and horse are all drying out and waiting to be fired. I think I'm going to change up the elephant's trunk a bit. I'm actually going to have him holding a balloon in his final stage so I do want the trunk curled up but I'm not sure how good it looks as is. He still needs ears, eyes, and texture. Then I'll apply some red underglaze and do a bit of carving before he's set out to dry.

The dents in the horses face are where I'm going to inlay the rope that binds him.

Incredible! All of these look very well made! I am so jealous of your remarkable skills!

The idea of the ropes that bind him were very clever! I think that really adds to his character.
